Have you ever visited Plimoth Plantation but left with more questions than when you first arrived? Have you ever wondered
how the interpreters learn what they know? Ever wondered where the real site of the Pilgrims town was? We can answer
all these questions and any other ones you may have on our guided tours of Plimoth Plantation and/ or downtown Plymouth (the
site of the original village). Craig Chartier, Director of the Plymouth Archaeological Rediscovery Project was an interpreter
and archaeologist at Plimoth Plantation for over six years. Started out at the Wampanoag indian program working with
the Wampanoag staff and then went to the Pilgrim Village, the Mayflower and the Farm Department. No one could tell you
more about what life was like in 1627, what happened after 1627 and how the staff has learned what they know about the Pilgrims,
than Craig can.
Plimoth Plantation offers discount rates for groups and Homeschoolers and Craig offers his tours at a rate of $5.00 per
person for a multi-hour tour of either the reconstructed Plimoth Plantation museum or of downtown Plymouth. Want to
know where the massacre was or whether they really stepped on Plymouth Rock, he can answer that too.
Our tours include a scavenger hunt for the children and extra information about the people, places and things that are
in Plymouth.
Book now for the fall because around Thanksgiving, everyone is looking for the real story of the Pilgrims and Natives.
